Presentation: The Human Voice: Sounding the Soul from the Inside Out

Our voice is a sonic fingerprint, a unique identifier. Not only can we identify someone by their voice, but we can tell many other things as well: age, race, gender, education, social class, height, weight—the list goes on.

If our body is an instrument, our mouth is the bell of the horn, our inner world is the musician.

The voice brings something of our Self from the inner world out into manifestation.

The human voice is so much a part of our daily life and yet— we know so little about it, about its true power and, perhaps, its true Soular purpose or function. If developing Right Speech is truly our intent, then perhaps we might be well-served by diving into the boat upon which our speech floats and not simply pay attention to the words we use.

In our time together, we’ll blend science and practice, exploring this miracle, the human voice. The fundamental question — How does our voice make us who are are?
